Welcome to Atlantis Swimming Club
Atlantis is a Professional Swimming Club that focuses on competitive swimming in the Central Gauteng and Swim South Africa Leagues. We support Open Water Swimming, participating in the CGA Elite Series Open Water League, and also look forward to annual events like the Midmar Mile. Atlantis currently has more than 90 swimmers currently participating in CGA Galas and the CGA Elite Series Open Water League.
Our Vision
Our vision at Atlantis is to extend beyond our current accolades and develop to be amongst the best in the Country .We have the talent in our swimmers, the experience and drive from our coaches and the Executive with a vision for both out swimmers and the club.
The affiliation to CGA and SSA allow for any swimmer with talent to go all the way to the top.
What we Offer
Training
Training takes place at the Greyville Swimming Pool and the Virgin Active Lenasia. Training takes place at least 6 times a week. There is a Winter and a Summer programme. Training slots are allocated according to the level of the swimmer.
Sports Medicine
Atlantis recently hosted a seminar by 3 leading individuals from the Centre for Sports Medicine in Rosebank. A relationship with the best Sports Physicians, Physiotherapists, Biokineticists and Nutritionists is being fostered, affording our swimmers the same care that our countries top sports men and women enjoy.
